Alberta’s Finest!

So I had an amazing trip with an amazing friend (July 2016) and I thought I should document our adventures so that we have a lasting memory.

Jasper

Our first hike along the way was the Sulphur Skyline Trail

We saw mountain goats and caribou :)

Then we stayed in this beauty of an A-frame structure lol! Quite the experience, right Britt? Aframe.jpg

Banff

We started our journey off by travelling through the Icefields Parkway and it was such a beautiful drive, all the way to Banff.

We went to Johnston’s Canyon!

Saw the Toe of the Athabasca Glacier, with drinks in hand :)

Built an Inuktitut <-|>/

Drove down the IceFields Parkway and hiked the Wilxcox Pass Trail… it just kept going and going and do did we for quite a while (4.5 hours+ return trip)

Day 3 in Banff was also our last.. on the way back we saw Lake Louise

Then we were on our way back to Edmonton Airport.
